Painting is our passion and we know how important your home is. This project we did on 6/2/21 in Big Bear California. the weather was perfect and gave us a chance to really do a good job. Our client had a complete remodel done on the Exterior adding wood accents on the front and demoed out the stucco for hardy slat. we got the opportunity to stain, varnish and paint after installation. Here where are steps to this project
Josiah first had our Painter Helper start out by masking all the windows, Doors and wood accents
We then began priming the newly installed hardy slats.
Next came the intermediate Coat then our final paint Coat. color was Pure White from Sherwin-Williams
After the body of the house was done we started on Vanishing the wood accents on the front.
sand down the wood with 220 grit sandpaper
we then vacuumed the wood dust from sanding
wiped clean any left over residue with All-In-One wood cleaner
We stained the wood and wiped the excess stain
I then sprayed my varnish and added a little stain to even out the color. i like to use the product Varathane satin because it is oil based and a good product for exterior wood fishes
